Ida Tin, co-founder a former CEO and chairwoman of Clue, the most trusted female health
app with over ten million users in 190+ countries, coined the term ‘Femtech’ in 2016, defining a sector projected to exceed a trillion dollars by 2040. She is currently leading a €40m initiative by SPRIND (the German agency of breakthrough innovation), on biosensors for continuous hormone monitoring in women. Ida, born in Denmark, grew up travelling the world on motorcycles as a child with her parents and brother, and later on her own. In 2009 she published “Directress” a book about her two year solo motorcycle journey in the US deserts. She lives in Berlin with her two teenage children and American husband who is an artist.
