Alan is the one-stop health partner for the body & the mind.
Alan provides health insurance plans to companies of all sizes – from start-ups to large enterprises – and combines its health insurance offering with access to personalized health care information, proactive care, care delivery, payment and post-care.
Alan is the first new health insurance company licensed in France since 1986. The company covers more than 20,000 companies and more than 350k members in France, Spain and Belgium. The company has raised €500m since its creation in 2016.
Prior to co-founding Alan, Charles Gorintin was a data science leader at fast-growing social networks Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, where he worked on fighting fake accounts, on growth, and on social psychology.
Gorintin holds a Masters degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Ecole des Ponts ParisTech, a Masters degree in Machine Learning from ENS Paris-Saclay, and a Masters of Financial Engineering from UC Berkeley – Haas School of Business.
