Bill Holmes

Executive Chairman & Founder, Radius

Bill graduated with a degree in biochemistry from Leeds University in 1985 before joining Esso on its sales and marketing graduate scheme.

In January 1990 after four years with Esso, Bill left to found UK Fuels in the village of Holmes Chapel in Cheshire.

Since those early years as a diesel bunkering company to transport companies, Bill has led the business on an ambitious growth journey and extended the range of products and services to provide a complete suite of mobility and connectivity solutions to over 450,000 customers.

In 2013 Radius was formed from the merger of more than 20 group companies and it now has operations across 19 countries in five continents, turning over £4B per annum.

Outside of his work with Radius, Bill is a trustee of The Helvellyn Foundation, an independent charitable organisation strives to preserve biodiversity and ensure all young people have equal
access to opportunities.
