Akin Babayigit

Co-founder & COO, Tripleot Studio

Akin Babayigit is a serial entrepreneur and an active angel investor. He is currently the founder & COO of Tripledot studios, one of the fastest growing mobile gaming companies in the world, which was recently valued at over $1.4 Bn. In just 4 years, Tripledot grew to generate several hundred million dollars per year in revenue, and currently entertains over 50 million people every month. Tripledot was recently named as the #1 fastest growing European company by FT (https://www.ft.com/ft1000-2023), as well as being named as the fastest growing Tech business in the UK, in the annual “UK Tech Awards”, sponsored by PwC.

Along with Tripledot, Akin was also a co-founder of Luna Labs, a B2B SaaS solution which converted Unity projects into HTML5 seamlessly. Luna labs grew to reach several million dollars in MRR, and was acquired by IronSource in 2021, only two years after its founding.

Previously, Akin was head of business operations at Activision Blizzard King, and played a key role in creating a brand new revenue stream for King’s titles with adversiting. Prior to King, Akin spent 5 years at Facebook, where he helped start the Facebook Audience Network, and was its global head of sales. At Facebook, Akin also led the European Games Partnerships team. Akin’s career also includes senior positions at Skype, Peak Games, and McKinsey & Company.

Akin also is an active angel investor, having been a shareholder in several successful companies such as Dream games (valued at $2.75b), Gram games (exit to Zynga), Spyke games, Masomo (exit to Miniclip) among many others.

Akin holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, an MSc in Electrical Engineering from Yale University, and BS in Electrical & Computer Engineering from University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Angie Ma

Angie co-founded Faculty: Europe’s leading applied AI firm and a world leader in AI safety and responsible AI deployment. Faculty transforms organisational performance through safe, impactful and human-first AI. As co-organiser of AI Fringe, 2023’s biggest tech event in the UK, she is passionate about bringing together and giving voice to industry, academia, civil society, the public and underrepresented communities to discuss responsible and practical adoption of AI. She mentors and advises various tech startups and charities. She is a trustee of the UK’s national cancer charity focussed on ovarian cancer. Her professional journey has taken an unconventional path - doing research in physics, studying law and founding another tech startup.

Rishi Khosla

CEO & Co-founder, OakNorth Rishi Khosla is an entrepreneur, philanthropist, investor, and the CEO and co-founder of leading financial technology company, OakNorth, which launched in September 2015. OakNorth is reshaping how entrepreneurs of scale-up businesses ($1m-100m revenue) are supported in order to boost growth, prosperity and innovation for the benefit of communities. To date, it has lent over £10bn to businesses across the UK and across a multitude of sectors, directly supporting the creation of tens of thousands of new jobs and homes across the UK. Prior to this, he built his first business, Copal Partners (which later became Copal Amba) in 2002 with his business partner, Joel Perlman. Together, they grew the business to 3,000 employees across 11 markets, before selling it to Moody’s Corporation in 2014.Rishi is an early-stage investor in Paypal and Indiabulls, with other investments including About Energy (battery technology), Spiracheck (biotech), and Xometry (3D printing and manufacturing).

Tessa Clarke

Co-Founder & CEO, Olio

Tessa is Co-Founder & CEO of Olio, an app tackling the climate crisis by solving the problem of waste in the home & local community. Olio does this by connecting people with their local community so they can give away rather than throw away their spare food and other household items, and lend and borrow instead of buying brand new. They also have over 100,000 volunteers who collect unsold food from local businesses and redistribute it to the community via the Olio app. Olio has grown to over 7 million users in 63 countries and its impact has been widely recognised, most notably by the United Nations who highlighted Olio as a "beacon” for the world, and by Vivatech who awarded Olio "Next European Unicorn".

Prior to Olio, Tessa had a 15 year corporate career as a digital Managing Director in the media, retail and financial services sectors, and she met her co-founder Saasha whilst they were studying for their MBAs at Stanford University. Tessa is passionate about the sharing economy as a solution for a sustainable world, and about ‘profit with purpose’ as the next business paradigm.

Tessa’s TED talk about the power of sharing has been watched over 1 million times, and she was awarded the Veuve Clicquot Bold Woman Award for 2023, the longest running award for female business leaders.

Daniel Shakhani

Daniel Shakhani is the Co-founder of Salary Finance, a leading employee financial wellness platform in the UK, and Vice President of FinFit, an equivalent platform in the US. Salary Finance and FinFit have grown from an idea to scale platforms which now support the financial wellness of a community of 15M employees across the UK and US, offering a suite of salary deducted financial employee benefits. Salary Finance has raised over £100M in equity (from Legal & General, Experian, Goldman Sachs and Blenheim Chalcot) and has funded over £1Bn in employee loans (with debt funding from JP Morgan and Virgin Money). Salary Finance was ranked the UK’s 19th fastest growing tech company (Deloitte Fast 50) and Europe’s 48th fastest growing tech company (FT 1000) based on 3 years of audited accounts. Daniel is a social entrepreneur having also founded Work Report, the UK’s first digital employment and income verification service, which was acquired by Experian in 2022. Daniel graduated from Harvard Business School, and launched at the World Economic Forum in January, 2023 the Global Campaign for Financial Literacy aiming to reach One Billion worldwide with the support of the Lord Mayor of London.

Ben is the founder and CEO of The Mothership, an acquirer of e-commerce businesses, he's also the host of the Velocity² community and the creator of the Fast Growth Icons events series.

Over the last 10 years, since he left his first business, he has been dedicated to helping other founders grow their companies through mentoring, investing, his events, and the community. He's now taking e-commerce businesses to the next level with The Mothership.
